* Avoid eating or if necessary take a small snack 1-2 hours before the massage.
* Bring a scarf or head covering (optional).

* Avoid alcohol or substance use the day before and on the day of the appointment
* Allow 2-3 days between this massage and other body treatments
* Notify Jules at least 24 hours before the appointment of any allergies/sensitivities to any scents, oils, or herbs
* Notify Jules immediately of any change in health status, or new diagnosis, or any accident/injury sustained after booking your appointment or since receiving your previous massage
During the Treatment (What to Expect)
* You will be sitting upright in a supportive, comfortable chair for minimum of 40 minutes with your back and legs supported with pillows.
* You will be clothed, except for the upper back, with a towel wrapped around your torso.
* Using warm special aromatherapy herbal oils, the massage begins on the mid-upper back, moves to the shoulders and neck, then to the head, face, and jaw. With a variety of unique movements and massage techniques, (some stimulating, others relaxing), this massage helps to relax and release tight muscles, reduce overall tension and encourage circulation. You may also feel relief from tight/sore muscles that have been caused from physical exertion or restriction due to arthritis or a previous injury.
* On the head, different techniques are used to stimulate and rejuvenate the scalp, relax and release excess tension/tightness and encourage circulation. As well, a mini-face massage includes gentle stimulation of pressure points on the face to relief sinus congestion, release jaw tension, and relax deep facial tissue.
* The massage ends with an aromatherapy oil applied to particular points on the head that not only nourish the scalp and hair, but also help to release tension, ‘congestion,’ ‘busyness’ in the head, and bring about deep relaxation.
“This whole process is likened to your favourite symphony – stimulating a physical, emotional, and mental response bringing pleasure, and ultimately producing a state of bliss.”
Following the Treatment
* It is beneficial to leave the oil on the scalp for several hours, or overnight (if possible), as it is very nourishing for both the hair, scalp, and mind.
* It is highly recommended to leave a few hours following the massage to rest and let the effects of the massage do its work and the body to heal. Many clients are so relaxed that they feel the need for a nap afterward.
* Avoid commitments, distractions, returning to work, or any strenuous or stimulating activity after the massage.
Give yourself time to rest and allow your body and mind time to integrate the effects, revel in the experience and awareness gained, and get the most benefit possible from your heavenly experience.
